Anyoption Review

Anyoption, launched in 2008, is one of the first binary options brokers as well as one of the largest. Anyoption offers a wide variety of currency, stocks and indices to trade in. Trading in commodities is also possible, but the number of available commodities is somewhat more limited. In any case, with a grand total of more than 120 different instruments to trade in, anyoption is certainly among the binary option brokers with the most tradable products.

The binary options trading platform of Anyoption is web based, so you don’t need to download any software and Mac users won’t have any problem using the platform.

Anyoption was also the first binary options broker to come out with its own binary option app for smartphones. There is an Anyoption app for both iPhone and Android, with which you can trade in binary options and check your positions etc. on the go.

Anyoption offers a welcome bonus of up to 20% on the first deposit. As usual the bonus has to be traded ‘free’ first, meaning you have to trade a certain number of positions - dependent on the height of the bonus - before you can cash out the bonus. If you withdraw funds from your account before the bonus requirements are met, the bonus is deducted. This is normal practice when it comes to binary option bonuses.

Trading Platform & Features

The binary trading paltform of Anyoption is web based. It offers all the usual features, such as:

One-Toch Trading, where the objective is for the trading instrument to merely touch a certain price level, not to break it.

Take Profit, allowing you to lock-in profit before the option’s expiration time.

Roll Forward, allowing you to increase the run time of the binary option

We also found it convenient that you can receive the outcome of binary option trades of +$100 free of charge over SMS.

Another fun option is that you can post great (or terrible) trades on Facebook or Twitter, so others can applaud (or boo) your trading skills.

Deposit & Withdrawal

Anyoption offers credit card options, wire transfer, Skrill (Moneybookers) and several local payment options for funding your account. Withdrawals are however limited to credit cards and wire transfer.

You can withdraw without additional cost once per month. For additional cashouts a fee of around $30 is charged, to cover the broker’s transfer costs. It is therefore advisable to keep your withdrawals limited to once a month.

The minimum deposit is $100, the smallest trade is $25 and the maximum account size is $5,000.

Customer Service

Anyoption’s customer service is available 24/7 through chat, email and phone. You can also request a callback.

Anyoption is operational since 2008 and is being regulated by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySec), under license no. 187/12.

Anyoption is one of the oldest binary option brokers, clearly regulated and with a wide variety of tradable instruments on offer, which is obviously one of its main strengths. The mobile application works well, while the trading features are comparable to those of other binary option brokers.

With 20%, the welcome bonus is a little small compared to those avaialable at some other brokers, but since you have to free up a bonus first anyway, too much focus on a bonus is never advisable.

We thought it somewhat confusing that you can deposit with Moneybookers but not withdraw to it, though we do not consider it a big issue. Same for the fact that you can only withdraw free of charge once a month, though it is important to note.

The customer service was helpful and very easy to reach, and we also liked the callback service.

In short, if you’re looking for a reliable broker with a large number of tradable assets and excellent customer service, you can’t go wrong with Anyoption.
